Chlamydia and Gonorrhea Prevention Campaign Targeting Young Women of Color

A write-up of the Chlamydia and Gonorrhea Prevention campaign created by the Los Angeles Department of Public Health targeting young women of color. The aim of the campaign was to communicate the serious consequences both chlamydia and gonorrhea have on a woman's health and future. Importance was placed on getting testing to become normalized and regularized. Large billboards, bus advertisements, mirror clings and handouts, such as postcards, condom holders, lip balms and key chains were used to target the audience in their everyday environments. The campaign also included digital advertisements by developing a microsite, social media interactive advertising and cinema trailers.
